Vision and mission for the performing arts
The performing arts secure memorable experiences for audiences, sustainable platforms for artists and significant returns for investors.
Our 37 associates serve the performing arts – music, theatre and dance in any live or recorded combination. Serving the performing arts in the 21st century means that we also serve the media (film, video, television, radio, internet, mobile telephony, advertising and publishing) that channel the performing arts to the consumers.
Performing arts ventures
Artistic, cultural and creative initiatives are our core mission. We develop ventures around our research and development programmes. They are the source of our expertise and insights. We launched –
- The Aarya Foundation, an English charitable trust, whose mission is to advance singing science and advocate music education through singing from kindergarten on, for the sake of art, health and community
- Aarya Ltd, an English private limited company, whose mission is to develop thought leadership around singing; Aarya Ltd established two subsidiaries -
- Aarya Productions Ltd will produce springboard nights, concerts and festivals
- Aarya Technologies bvba will operate Web and mobile platforms for live music
- L'atelier Spectaculaire Ltd, an English private limited company, whose mission is to translate, write and produce plays
- Theatre Management Associates Sdn. Bhd., a Malaysian private limited company, whose mission is to design, develop, deliver and operate vibrant arts centres.
Research collaborations
We join, define or aggregate research projects and currently work with 13 European and North-American universities including Boston University, Bournemouth University, Canterbury Christ Church University, Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg, Freie Universität Berlin, Karlshochschule International University, Liverpool Institute for the Performing Arts, Royal Institute of Technology (Stockholm), University of Bedfordshire, University of Groningen, University of London, University of Mons and Utrecht University.
